Found in stunning countryside near the North Downs Way on the borders of Surrey and Kent, just a 10-minute drive from Botley Hill Farmhouse, our luxurious shepherd huts are located at Broomlands Farm near Oxted.

About the North Downs Shepherd Huts

Fully equipped with the necessities of modern life but with an old world charm that will delight and inspire, these huts make for a romantic and peaceful break for two.

Each hut has been hand-crafted in Somerset to our own specification, with stunning interiors in a Shaker-style theme and painted in Farrow & Ball colours.

Solid oak flooring and worktops add to the sense of luxury and sheep’s wool insulation keeps the huts cool in the summer and warm in the winter. And if it rains, the sound will be a comforting pitter patter rather than a deafening drumming.

Our North Downs Shepherd Huts are spacious and come equipped with a wood burner, kitchenette, a mini fridge, toilet, shower and sofa-cum-bed. luxury towels and complimentary toiletries are provided.

French doors lead outside to the barbecue (remember to bring the charcoal!) and fire pit (logs provided), perfect for outdoor cooking on balmy summer days.

A countryside holiday in the Surrey Hills

With views over picturesque farmland, this is the ultimate glamping experience, ideal for a romantic break for two in Surrey or a unique retreat while visiting friends and family in the area.

Did you know, you can follow a lovely 2.5 mile walk from the shepherd huts to Botley Hill Farmhouse for a well earned pint, a bite and stunning sunset views. Word of warning - it can be muddy, so wear boots!

You can leave your car parked near your hut and walk for miles through beautiful countryside and National Trust land around Westerham and Limpsfield Chart.

Some of England’s finest historic houses are just on the doorstep. Make time to visit Chartwell, the former home of Sir Winston Churchill; the 13th century Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn; and Down House, the family home of world-renowned scientist Charles Darwin.

Or explore the National Trust’s Chiddingstone village - one of the most beautiful and oldest villages in Kent.

Enjoy fantastic local food and drink

For food, you can make the most of the barbecue or fire pit at the Shepherd Huts, or come in search of a hearty meal at our 16th century inn, Botley Hill Farmhouse, which is just a 10 minute drive away.

Here you will find a mouth-watering range of home cooked dishes using wonderful local produce, plus a hand-picked selection of fine wines, and real ales from Titsey Brewing Co, who are based on the Titsey Estate.

Our Sheep Shed tea room is also open daily for brunches and light lunches. In the Sheep Shed, you are also able to purchase local food and drink deli items to take back to the Shepherd Huts or with you on a countryside picnic. There are fantastic farm shops, breweries, vineyards and more on the doorstep.

A pamper break in the Surrey Hills

A stay in our shepherd huts is guaranteed to recharge the batteries. This is a true opportunity to experience nature in luxury. So, switch off the computer, hold all calls and open the doors to one of our unique holiday homes – then simply relax.
