What should I expect when staying at Botley Hill Farmhouse?

We offer the classic experience of a traditional country pub with rooms. Located right above our historic 16th-century inn, our four individually designed en-suite bedrooms provide the peaceful privacy of a premium small hotel or bed and breakfast, paired with the convenience of our restaurant downstairs.

How close are the rooms to the North Downs Way?

We are ideally located for exploring the Surrey Hills via the North Downs Way, with the trail just a short walk from the pub. If you are walking or cycling the North Downs Way between the Caterham and Westerham sections, you can step straight off the trail and check in to your room without needing any extra transport.

Are the bedrooms dog-friendly?

Yes, dogs are welcome in the bedrooms by prior permission. Our country pub and gardens are also fully dog-friendly. So you and your four-legged companion can enjoy comfortable accommodation near Oxted.

Is there on-site parking available for guests?

Yes. All overnight guests enjoy full access to our car park – it is free for guests and secure, being locked at night. This makes us an ideal base if you are driving in to explore the Titsey Estate, visiting nearby Oxted or Warlingham, or leaving your vehicle behind while you tackle a multi-day hike along the downs.

How easy is it to reach you by train from London?

It is incredibly straightforward, making us an ideal weekend getaway from the capital. Direct trains to your country getaway run frequently from London Bridge to Oxted Station (usually just under 30 minutes, depending on the trains!) and London Victoria to Oxted (around 40 minutes). From there, the farmhouse is a quick, 10-minute taxi ride up Titsey Hill.

Dining at the Inn

When you stay at Botley, fantastic food is right on your doorstep. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday in our traditional country pub and restaurant. Our seasonal menus celebrate local ingredients, with plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices always available.

And one of the best things about our accommodation is the sheer convenience. After a long day of walking or exploring the Surrey countryside, you can head straight downstairs to enjoy dinner and drinks without having to worry about driving anywhere afterwards.
