Our specials menu is constantly changing, to allow our chefs to make the best use of the freshest, most seasonal and local ingredients.
We like to buy from small farms - the Titsey Estate beef herd grazes the land around Botley Hill Farmhouse, for instance - and the local gamekeeper is a regular visitor, bringing us fresh venison and other delicacies.
We don't publish the specials menu on the website, as we'd need to update them daily, and in fact most of our customers enjoy the surprise - but if you'd like to know what chef has in store today, do give us a call.

Supporting local businesses is at the heart of what we do here at Botley Hill Farmhouse - fish comes from an independent fishmonger based nearby; dairy ice-cream from just a few miles away on the outskirts of London; cheeses are from cheesemakers in Sussex and Kent; all our bread is baked for us by the amazing The Sussex Kitchen bakery, and beer comes from Titsey Brewing Co, which is based on site here at Botley. Depending on the time of year, we also grow our own herbs grown just outside the kitchen door. We actually have plans to rear our own animals, so watch this space.
Meanwhile, at our lovely tea shop, The Sheep Shed, we champion local artisans and experts such as chocolatiers, beekeepers, jam and chutney makers, fudge producers and - most recently - delicious marshmallows handmade just for us.
