We are delighted that we will once again be able to share our beautiful Surrey Hills views from Botley Hill Farmhouse with you all from Saturday July 4 – the place just hasn’t been the same without you.

As always, the safety of our guests and staff is paramount and so we will be operating with pre-booking only and limited numbers to start, as we find our feet and allow you the most relaxed and enjoyable visit to Botley Hill.  

Here are a few house rules that will help to make the “new normal” smoother for everybody. We thank you so much for your support and cooperation.

So we can manage numbers, you MUST pre-book.

Booking

We are only admitting pre-booked diners, and kindly ask you to please book online rather than calling. Tables (maximum of six people) will be allocated on a first booked, first served basis and, while we hope to welcome as many of you as possible, social distancing rules do dictate we keep numbers capped for the time being. We thank you for your patience.

To be able to run a smooth operation that is safe for all involved, we will only be serving in one area to start with. So, if the weather is looking fine, then outside it will be with our incredible views (bring hats and sunscreen and please be aware that not all tables have cover/shade). On rainy days, we will move as many bookings inside as possible. We will make the decision on a daily basis, once we have assessed the weather.  

Arrival

Once you have arrived at Botley Hill Farmhouse car park, please attempt to park nearer to the top of the car park so that there is as much social distance space near the entrance as possible. Then, make your way to the patio side entrance.  A member of our team will be there to greet you at the gate. We will be running a one-way system as best we can, so please be mindful of others and keep to social distancing rules should there be a queue. 

Ordering

We will be running a slightly reduced menu focused on Botley Hill favourites. Once you are seated, there will be blackboards all around with the menu on (sample menus will also be available on our website). Note your table number and then come up to our outside bar/service table where a staff member will take your food and drinks order. We will give you your cutlery, sauces and drinks for you to take back to your table. Then, just enjoy the view while the chefs get your meals ready. Your food will be brought to your table. 

Facilities

There will be no access to the Farmhouse from the side patio/garden. Should you need to visit the restrooms, you will need to exit the side garden and enter the inn through the main front door. Again, there be a one-way system, so please follow the signs that will help show you the way back to your table. Just ask a member of the team if you have any questions.

Payment

We will be taking cash and card payments, but ask people to please pay by card where possible.

We just want to extend another huge thank you for all your support at this unusual and difficult time for everyone. We can't wait to welcome you back to Botley Hill Farmhouse.
